About us

Our laboratory has a long history of basic and clinical researches on pancreato-biliary diseases. Clinically, we provide state-of-the art medical treatment for all kinds of pancreato-biliary diseases including pancreatic cancer (PC), pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (PanNEN), acute/chronic/autoimmune pancreatitis, and biliary cancer; their diagnosis and new therapeutic strategies, interventional pancreato-biliary endoscopic procedures including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). As basic researches, we perform transcriptomic analysis of PC and PanNEN through the next generation sequence techniques to identify genes implicated in their pathogenesis. We have also conducted several multi-center clinical trials regarding chemotherapy for PC and interventional EUS for pancreato-biliary malignancies.
